Ghastly Shadows was formed in 2018 by John McLaren, who has been a part of the New England music scene for over 15 years. Formerly of The Shadows Smile (as Bubba Grimm) and Virus Cycle (as Johnny Virum), John has embarked on a new venture while going back to his roots. Ghastly Shadows combines different genres, resulting in an eclectic mix of darkwave, cold wave, goth rock, and minimal synth.
